2026 marks 90 years — help us tell the story

Ninety years ago, in 1936, Maktab-ul-Hidaya opened its doors in Thulhaadhoo. That school — ours — has been teaching the island's children ever since.

For the 90th anniversary, the Association is building an archive of the school's story: photographs of old school buildings and classes, certificates and documents, teachers remembered across generations, and the memories only our older batches still carry.

If you or your family have photographs or documents from any era of the school, contact the committee through this site. Originals will be scanned and returned — nothing needs to be given away.
